Mailroom Solutions
Informed Imaging offers a complete automated mailroom solution combining state-of-the-art scanner/sorters with ultra fast document classification technology, a suite of highly accurate OCR/ICR recognition software and bespoke application programming.
Mail sorting remains one of the most time-consuming and laborious tasks facing an organisation. It is a daily bottleneck which causes delays impacting on other business processes. When mail is hand-sorted in the mail room it cannot be prioritised into items of high and low importance, so all mail typically arrives at a department at the same time, often several hours later in the day.

Scanner Sorter:

Kleindienst Mail Scanner/Sorter (for envelopes)
The KD Mail Scanner/sorter combines mail envelope sorting with high-speed imaging. The Mail scanner/sorter can be used for sorting of outbound mail before collection by the postal service or for sorting inbound mail in order to streamline operational processing.
The Kleindienst Mail scanner/sorter is ideal for the busy mailroom in a mid to large company handling up to 30,000 mail-items per day. It is also well-suited to mid-volume mail consolidation work and provides a robust solution for local mail consolidators seeking on-going Royal Mail discounts.
Cost and time savings
The Kleindienst Mail Scanner/Sorter offers up to 16 out-sort pockets, enabling Mail-sort 120 to be achieved on a double-pass basis. This allows companies to consolidate mail runs prior to collection and to earn mail-sort discount.
For inbound mail, organizations can benefit from the multi-pocket capability of the Mail Scanner/sorter to out-sort envelopes containing priority mail, while moving less time-critical items to lower priority pockets.
Capability
The Kleindienst Mail Scanner/Sorter is more than just an envelope sorter. It will also image documents up to A4 size without any loss of speed, making it a versatile scanner as well as a fast letter sorter. Other additional features include a barcode reader, patch-code reader, OCR reader, and single or multi-line endorser – all controlled through the scanners’ software utility ‘ProSort’.
