Royal
Pharmaceutical Society begins CPD records processing

The
Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB) is the
regulatory body for 40,000 NHS pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
in the UK. In 2007 it became a mandatory requirement for its
members to carry out on-going continual professional development
(CPD). Members may submit CPD records for assessment via the
web, via CD and via paper records. Informed Imaging had been
selected to deliver the pilot for paper records processing
- pharmacists' papers are carefully tracked, scanned, indexed
and data captured before data and images are made available
to independent assessors via the web. |

South
Ayrshire Council go live with Automated Invoice Processing
into Oracle |

After
an extensive period of development South Ayrshire Council
has begun to roll-out its Automated Invoice processing system
supplied by Informed Imaging. Some time ago the Council decided
to switch their old ERP system to Oracle Financials and, at
the same time, to streamline their traditional paper-based
invoice-matching system with an automated solution. During
the development phase Informed Imaging has worked with the
Council and Oracle technicians to ensure tight integration
of the invoice scanning and capture system with Oracle. Now,
roll-out to full service is proceeding in key council departments
and is expected to continue throughout the year.

services on behalf of the RPSGB for the collection of annual

Midlands Passenger Transport Executive awards Informed Imaging
a contract to process half a million application forms |

The
Informed Imaging service bureau was selected by the WMPTA
to process all of the application forms for concessionary
travel in the West Midlands Region. Under a new government
initiative all eligible travellers will receive a 'smart card'
containing data and photo details. This large mailing and
data capture project will run for several weeks in early autumn. |

Informed Imaging has been selected to provide an invoice capture solution for the Council's Accounts Payable department. The solution supplied consists of Kodak scanners, EMC capture software, and Informed Imaging's application development and integration skills. The system will link closely to the Council's OpenText Document management system and their Patech payment approval system for Oracle. |

Informed Imaging attended the 3 day Oracle User Group exhibition in Birmingham. This highly successful venue brings together users and vendors of Oracle based solutions from across the UK. This year we had an increasing number of enquiries from companies seeking to streamline the capture of data from invoices and remittances into Oracle e-Business suite products. Customers are now more confident with this maturing technology and Informed Imaging was able to showcase its Oracle-based solutions using real case studies from the public and private sectors.

| Informed Imaging attended all 5 country-wide venues for the AIIM Document Roadshow 2006.
The case study presentation for the processing of remittances for Dell Computers generated a lot of enquiries and interest. Visitors to the stand were also able to see the high-speed Scanner-Sorter from our partner Beta Systems which was used to scan documents such as cheques, invoices, and remittances. Documents were then shown to be data captured using EMC b-Wize capture software and routed to workflows to simulate typical payment approval processes. Ken Boulby, Sales Director said “Given the quality of enquiries and interest shown we shall be back next year”

Informed Imaging showed its latest remittance and invoice processing solution developed for Oracle Workflow and Financials users. This generated a lot of interest in the Oracle community and has resulted in a lot of follow up activity. Additionally, Informed Imaging was pleased to be able to show the system running with the Kleindienst high speed scanner/sorter. This creates a unique solution for the automatic processing of invoices, remittances, cheques and other business documents. |

This September Informed Imaging entered an agreement with KDS to promote the Kleindienst range of scanner sorters as part of Informed Imaging’s business-forms solutions. Under the agreement Informed Imaging will sell directly the ‘Mail’ scanner into the UK market and the H-series through the existing current distributor arrangement for the UK. |

Captiva
Software recently announced its plans to buy SWT, a long term
software supplier of Informed Imaging. As a newly appointed
systems integrator of Captiva technologies, Informed Imaging
will benefit from the extended product suite and global coverage
offered by Captiva’s Input Accel. |
