eFLOW

eFLOW is Top Image Systems platform for scanning, data extraction, and processing.   eFLOW creates images of all material to be processed from different data sources, such as forms, invoices, faxes and eForms. The images are enhanced, rotated, cleaned, de-speckled, and batched ready for further processing. eFLOW then organises the extraction of data from the electronic images.

Stages within e-Flow include ‘Classification’ which automatically sorts documents into types or groups depending on the generic features of the form i.e. remittances, customer letters etc. At the ‘Process’ stage data is removed from the images by using one (or several) of TiS’s powerful recognition modules. E-Flow does this by passing structured documents to ‘Integra’ for complete data extraction of machine print and handwriting. Documents which contain similar content but not in fixed locations, (semi-structured forms such as invoices) are processed by ‘Freedom’. Completely unstructured forms such as customer letters and correspondence are routed by e-Flow to be processed via TiS’s ‘Smart’ module which can automatically learn about new documents as they arrive.

Once all data is extracted e-Flow passes the information to appropriate Validation modules for checking against database rules, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems and on-screen completion is done if necessary.

eFLOW   then delivers the information to its approval workflow module or alternatively, data can be automatically exported from eFLOW into a wide number of ERP systems.

EMC Documentum Application Xtender (AX5)

Informed Imaging is a certified supplier and integrator of EMC Documentum AX5.

EMC Documentum ApplicationXtender electronically stores, organizes, and manages documents, files, and other business-critical information, and provides fast, security-controlled access to information from Microsoft® Windows or Web-based clients. ApplicationXtender integrates document imaging, reports management such as computer output to laser disc (COLD), and enterprise relationship management, workflow, and document management services – within an easy-to-use Windows/.NET-optimized system.

AX5 is installed in hundreds of sites across the world. It can be run on a small department network of 3 or 4 PC’s or be deployed over a corporate WAN, intranet, or extranet to link thousands of clients. It may be used solely as a powerful DM tool or its functionality may be extended by adding any of the modules shown below. See under Electronic Document Management section for more details of AX5.

EMC Documentum ApplicationXtender Workflow automates the flow of information and documents throughout your organisation, making your business more effective and responsive. Participants can collaborate on work with easy access to workflows (via Microsoft® Windows or Web-based EMC Documentum ApplicationXtender clients) as well as to visual process maps (to define how work gets done).

AX Reports Manager

EMC Documentum ApplicationXtender Reports Management facilitates the electronic presentation of statements, bills, explanations of benefits, and other business information. You can automatically capture and ingest business reports such as computer output to laser disc (COLD). Enterprise relationship management (ERP) ApplicationXtender customers can easily capture and view streaming computer output, allowing all major types of this information to be stored alongside other business content, saving effort, time, and money.

AX Web Access

EMC Documentum ApplicationXtender Web Access provides an efficient, inexpensive browser client for EMC Documentum ApplicationXtender. You will be able to retrieve, view, and manage documents using a standard Web browser.

AX Integration module

EMC Documentum ApplicationXtender Integration Module delivers an unsurpassed image-enabling technology that allows virtually any business application to be easily and seamlessly integrated with the EMC Documentum ApplicationXtender content management solution without programming.

AX Media Distribution

EMC Documentum ApplicationXtender Media Distribution enables companies to collect, index, and place content on CDs for distribution to third parties that may not have EMC Documentum ApplicationXtender. You gain capabilities to distribute content for ApplicationXtender and import content from CDs back into ApplicationXtender for reuse.

QAS address management

Informed Imaging is a reseller of QAS address management software. The QAS UK address file, international address files, MPAN numbers (Gas meters), bank sort codes and other data sources can be integrated into our capture solutions to streamline the validation of information.
